There are four keys facts and truth about Jesus that you must know and understand. It stands Jesus out from every other person. What Jesus a prophet? Yes, he was. Was he different from every other prophet? Yes he was because he was also the messiah that the Jews were waiting for as he that was to come. John sent a message to Jesus that are you the one that is to come or can we look for another? So they were looking for somebody and he said I am but he was much more than that and every time when we come into the presence of God, it must be clear to you that what the Bible has said concerning Jesus. When we were worshipping God, the bible says God has given all judgment to the son that as they honour the father, they honour the son and he that does not honour the son is not honouring the father also. These four facts must be clear to you and you must understand them. I will give you scriptures for it.
1. Jesus is God in the flesh. Isaiah 9: 6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6 KJV
He was not just a good man, he was a perfect man but he was also God in the flesh.
Verse 6: for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given and the judgment shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called wonderful, counselor, mighty God ….
Everybody say the mighty God. Who is this God that was given? Jesus. He is man or God? God. Can you see it in the bible? You must understand what you are doing when you say you are worshipping God. His name shall be called the mighty God, the everlasting God, the counsellor, the wonderful, the prince of peace.
Hebrews 1: 8
“But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.”
Hebrews 1:8 KJV
But unto the son he saith, thy throne o God…..
Who is he talking to? Who is speaking here and who is he talking to? Thy throne o God, who is he calling God? Who is God calling God? Jesus. Thy throne o God is of righteousness, the sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou has love righteousness and hateth iniquity, therefore God, even the Lord our God has anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Verse 10: in the beginning thou has laid the foundation of the earth. Who laid the foundation of the earth? And the heavens are the works of thy hand. The heaven are the works of whose hand? Jesus. You have no victory if you don’t understand that and that is why the name of Jesus don’t work in the hand of many people. They are not convinced about it. They say it as a religious men but they are not convinced about it and you must have that at the back of your m ind. The Jews attacked Jesus because he made this claims.
John 13:13 “Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.”
John 13:13 KJV
I am a son of God, you are saying you are making yourself God.
Verse 13: Ye call me master and God and for so I am. What did he call him here? Master and God.
They were calling him ceremoniously but that is exactly what I am.
Alright, that is the first thing. Read the following scriptures when you get home: John 10:30-38, Mathew 22:41-46, John 20: 24-29
If the devil has not persecuted you because of your Christianity before, these four facts will bring persecution against you.
2. Jesus is the final revelation of God to man.
After Jesus, there is no other revelation of God to man. Hebrews 1: 1 “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,”
Hebrews 1:1 KJV
1: And in this last days spoken unto us by his son ……. that’s the final revelation. Any revelation of God that is different from what Jesus brought is error. That’s the final revelation of God. Mathew 21, you read that passage of a man that is servant and his harvest failed. The Christian of today, their doctorines are not very sound because they only attend prayer meetings and Sunday services.
Mathew 12 and read from verse 35.
35: And the husbandman built his servant…. And again took another and sent but last of all, he sent unto them his son saying: What did he say? Last of all. Jesus is the final revelation of God to man.
Mathew 11: 26
And when John had heard the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples to ask him are you the one to come or should we look for another? Jesus answered and said: Go and show John again, the things which you do and see here and say the blind receive their sights, the lame walk, the dead arouse up and the deaf have the gospel preached to them and blessed is he that whosoever shall not be offended in me. What was the question of John? That are you the one that is to come or do we look for another? Did Jesus answer that question? After Jesus, you are not to be poor and all that.
3. You must have it at the back of your mind. When you take the name of Jesus and you come to the presence of the father, this must be there, otherwise, you are playing. JESUS IS THE FINAL SACRIFICE FOR SIN. The perfect, the final and the acceptable sacrifice for sin.
Hebrews 9: 22 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
Hebrews 9:22 KJV
How many times? Once, has he appeared to put away sin. What did he do with sin? To put it away.
27 – 28
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.”
Hebrews 9:27-28 KJV
How many of you are looking for him?
4. Jesus is the only way to God.
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
John 14:6 KJV
I am the way
Does that make any other way possible?
Acts 8:12. “But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.”
Acts 8:12 KJV
Neither is there salvation
Now, this four facts place two burden on your heart as a Christian.
1. The burden to tell somebody and if this four facts are truth and you know anyone that does not accept this four facts and you don’t tell them, you will be guilty of the blood of that person.
2. And the second burden that he places upon us is to worship him correctly.
First thing I want you to do is to make a commitment toHod that these four facts are true. That you will not keep the facts from mankind and these are the facts that the devil hates about Jesus.
