OPEN A FAITH ACCOUNT!

Dearly Beloved of God,

Rom 10:17 says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

What do you do when you want to relate with a bank? You first open an account, and then the bank services your account. The same principle applies while dealing with God. You must open a faith account.

God doesn’t look at your bank account but your faith account before He gives you assignments. Begin to put words in your word bank. If your word bank crashes, your faith account will close down. The world’s money currencies can crash, but the word of God cannot crash! Set up a word bank and begin to put in it words from God.

You need to ask yourself, how many words from God have you received in your walk with Him? You cannot receive money from a bank that has failed. You can only have a shortage in your life if you have a shortage of the word of God.

What the word of God does is substitute for you what your salary will normally do. If your salary fails, how will your life run? God’s word will connect you to something that will connect you to life. Not every one that did something wrong deliberately wanted to do it. But when normal life failed, and life is still continuing, and the pressure came, the devil offered them an alternative. For a child of God, the word of God enlists God’s involvement in your life. So when there is a shortage of words in your bank, you shorten God’s involvement in your life.

Gen 39:3 says, “And his master saw that the Lord was with him, and that the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand.” What enlisted God’s involvement in Joseph’s life was the words that God gave him.

Luke 1:45 says, “Blessed is she that believeth for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Something is being told to people from different places in life. But what is it that has been told you from the Lord?

This bank is to be filled with things that the Lord has told you. That account will sponsor things in your life. God is watching something in your life, and you must know what God is watching in your life (Jeremiah 1:12).

God is watching to perform in your life – HIS WORDS.  He is not watching for your tears but your prayers filled with HIS WORDS.

Build up your word bank now so that you will be able to withdraw from it when pressures and challenges of life come.

Till next time, go and win with Jesus.

God’s Servant,

Rev. Olusola Areogun.
