This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through solaareogunministries.org, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Sola Areogun Ministries. Our ministry contact address is Dream Centre Bus Stop, along Osun State Secretariat, Abere, before November 27 Interchange, Osogbo, Nigeria.

2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- Contact information: your name, email address, telephone number, subject and message when you contact the ministry, submit a prayer request, testimony or enquiry.
- Newsletter information: your email address when you subscribe for ministry news, teachings and event updates.
- Event registration information: details submitted through Event Espresso or another registration form, including your name, contact details, selected event or ticket, attendee answers and registration status.
- Giving information: your name, email address, telephone number, amount and selected giving category when you give online. Payment card or bank details are processed by the payment provider and are not intended to be stored by SOAR on this website.
- Comments and account information: information you provide if you leave a comment or use a registered account.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, pages visited, timestamps, cookies and similar information used for security, rate limiting, analytics and website operation.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries, prayer requests, testimonies and other messages;
- manage event registrations, attendance, tickets, confirmations and related communication;
- process and record online giving and provide transaction-related communication;
- maintain the newsletter subscriber list and send ministry news, teachings and event updates where you have subscribed;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website;
- prevent spam, fraud, abuse and unauthorised access;
- comply with applicable legal, accounting and regulatory obligations; and

4. Legal bases and consent
We process information where you have given consent, where processing is necessary to provide a service you requested, where we have a legitimate interest in operating and protecting the ministry website, or where processing is required by law. You may withdraw consent for optional communications at any time.
5. Newsletter communications
When you subscribe, your email address is added to our WordPress subscriber list. We may use that address to send ministry news, teachings and event updates. You may unsubscribe at any time by using an unsubscribe link included in an email, where available, or by contacting us at info@dreamcentre.org. Unsubscribing does not affect essential event, transaction or service messages.
6. Online giving and payments
Online giving is processed through Paystack or another approved payment provider. The provider may collect payment-card, bank, identity, device and transaction information under its own privacy policy and security procedures. SOAR receives transaction details needed to confirm and administer the gift but does not intentionally store full payment-card details on this website.
7. Event registrations
Event Espresso is used to manage certain registrations. Registration information may be used to administer attendance, capacity, tickets, confirmations, enquiries, event safety and payment where applicable. Information may be shared with authorised ministry staff and service providers only as necessary to deliver the event.
8. Cookies and analytics
The website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember preferences, support login sessions, prevent abuse, measure website use and improve performance. WordPress, security tools, analytics services, embedded media and payment or registration providers may also set cookies.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent some website features, registrations or payment services from working correctly.
9. Embedded content and external services
Pages may include videos, audio, images, social posts or other content from services such as YouTube, SoundCloud, Facebook, Instagram and X. Embedded content may behave as though you visited the provider’s website directly. Those providers may collect usage information, set cookies and track interaction according to their own privacy policies, particularly if you are signed in to their services.
Links to other ministry or third-party websites are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
10. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with authorised ministry personnel and trusted providers that help us operate the website and ministry services, including:
- website hosting and WordPress service providers;
- Event Espresso and event-administration providers;
- Paystack and other approved payment providers;
- email and newsletter delivery providers;
- analytics, security, backup and anti-spam providers; and
- government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities where disclosure is legally required.
Providers process information under their own terms and applicable data-protection responsibilities.
11. International data transfers
Some service providers may process or store information outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable law.
12. How long we retain information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, accounting, security or ministry-administration requirements. Newsletter information is normally retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Event, transaction and giving records may be retained for the period required by applicable law. Security and rate-limit records are generally short-lived unless needed to investigate abuse.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls, security monitoring, form validation, anti-spam measures and rate limiting. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive information through ordinary contact forms.
14. Children’s information
If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian should submit personal information or register you for an event where appropriate. If we learn that a child’s information was collected without appropriate authorisation, we will take reasonable steps to review and delete it where required.
15. Your data-protection rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or request a portable copy where applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
