Dearly beloved of God,
Deepen your sonship by engaging the leadings of the spirit.
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Who leads you is an indication of who fathers you. Those led by the spirit are identified as God’s sons. Choose to live your life and lead your family by the Spirit.
I’ve told you over the years that the Lord came to me early in my journey as a believer and said I should master two subjects:
1. How to be led by the Spirit.
2. How to live by faith.
You really don’t have to be wise to have a wise man’s results; if you do what the wise man has done, you will have his results, too. Therefore, I challenge you this year to master the leading of the Holy Spirit in your heart.
Seek to know how the Spirit speaks to and deals with you. Your family will need it one day. Those you love and who love you will one day soon require that you give or bring critical instruction or direction for them in the midst of a world of chaos; you must be skilled and have mastered how to switch into the spirit realm to bring answers by the Holy Spirit.
I will share with you a few steps that engage the leadings of the spirit in your life.
1. Waking up early to pray daily.
2. Daily fellowship with God.
3. Daily fellowship with other sound believers.
4. Daily praying in tongues.
5. Placing yourself under righteous restrictions.
6. Daily reading your bible.
7. Fasting and waiting on the Lord: the Lord taught me to live a fasted life.
8. Daily submitting your will to the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit will never accept any other role in your life other than to lead, and you must master his leading to forge ahead in life. These are daily operations that will give control of your life to the Holy Spirit and make you strong and sound and a son of God indeed.
