RESULT ONE:

AWESOME DEEDS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

Psalm 65:5: “By awesome deeds in righteousness you will answer us”.

Let’s look at examples of God answering His people in High righteousness:

2 Chronicles 20:20-28 King James Version

20 And they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.

24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.

25 And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.

27 Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.

In 2 Chronicles 20:20-28, the Bible says God did the following things for them.

(a) God set ambushments against the enemies and smote them.

(b) The enemy helped to destroy one another.

(c) God gave them such wealth of the wicked that they were there for three days gathering the spoils.

(d) They were made to rejoice over the enemies.

(e) The fear of the Lord came upon those countries round about them.

(f) The realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet, for God gave him rest roundabout. Glory! God gives rest all round to those who prevail in prayers.

Another example of awesome deeds of righteousness can be seen in Numbers 23:24.

Three times, Balak moved Balaam to curse the children of Israel so they might be smitten in battle. Without their being aware of this, God defended them, for His name is Jehovah-Tsidkenu. He is the Lord our Righteousness.

Numbers 22:12: “And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people for they are blessed.”

Despite this warning, Balaam still went, and God, in His righteousness, defended His own.

Numbers 23:8: “How shall I curse whom God hath not cursed? And how shall I defy whom the Lord hath not defied?”

Numbers 23:21-23: “He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath He seen perverseness in Israel: the Lord his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them. God brought them out of Egypt; he hath, as it were, the strength of an unicorn. Surely, there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel; according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, what hath God wrought!”

Can you see the righteousness of God delivering His people from enchantments and curses? There is no enchantment against you in Christ.

In Acts 26:25-31, we see how God brought His presence down to Paul and Silas in prison when they prayed and sang praises.

Jesus in John 6 thanked God and called Lazarus forth out of the grave.

These are just a few of the awesome things God will do for you in righteousness in answer to your prayers.

RESULT TWO:

DIVINE QUIET AND PROSPERITY

Psalm 65:7: “Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people”

God will bring quietness to your life situations. He stills all the enemies of your success.

Job 34:29: “When He giveth quietness, who then can make trouble?” NONE!

It is only in the atmosphere of quietness that the gospel can best be preached, that is why Paul says in I Tim. 2:1-3 that we should pray for leaders.

You can prosper more in an atmosphere of quiet. It does not mean that problems won’t come, but they do not even move you! You become too much for your problems!

RESULT THREE:

JOY-UNLIMITED

Psalm 65:8b: “Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening of rejoice”.

This scripture talks of all-day rejoicing. God makes you joyful. Nothing disturbs your joy.

Remember, in John 14:12, the master says: “Ask and you will keep receiving until your joy is full.” God gives you all things that will contribute to the joy of your faith.

God says, “Joy is divine strength.” (Neh 8:10) By the power of joy, God answers your prayers so that your joy will be full and your strength great. You won’t faint in the days of adversity. Pro. 24:10. Beloved, there is joy unlimited awaiting you.

RESULT FOUR:

DIVINE VISITATIONS

Psalm 65:9-13: “Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it. Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows* thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness, and the little hills rejoice on every side. The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.”

The Bible says in answer to prayer, DIVINE VISITATIONS come.

  • A time of Divine visitation brings watering, which means refreshing and revival. Divine Visitation also brings spiritual enrichment. The River of God is always full of riches. When God visits, He always leaves so many riches in all realms of your life.
  • Divine visitation brings provision. This talk of material needs being supplied. Hunger vanished; you are divinely provided for.
  • Divine visitation is a time when God prepares your life to receive special seedlings and harvesting. It is always a time of special blessings.
  • Divine visitation is a time when God crowns your whole year with goodness.
  • All the paths of God drop fatness for you when He visits. This talk of unlimited prosperity.

May you not miss your day of visitation!

All it takes to change a mean situation is a Divine visitation.

Are you ready for a Divine Visitation? May the Lord visit you with His glory.
