3 John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
The above scriptures describe the manifestations of the blessing. If your experience is contrary, then there is a curse in operation. You must disallow it, because if it continues, your future is at stake.
God is the God of new beginnings, the God of the middle of the road, and the God of positive endings. The middle of the road is when you are too far from where you started and too far from where you are going. In Mark 4, Jesus and His disciples were to go to the other side, but the storm arose when they got to the middle of the sea. They could not go forward because of the storm, and turning back could have been the easiest thing.
Moving forward becomes tedious and burdensome when a curse shows up in a generation. It becomes difficult to progress or finish projects. There is a reality of the spirit behind the curse of abandoning projects. Don’t let that spirit get upon you. Therefore, finish anything you start. Everyone who is under a blessing carries the spirit of a finisher. Finishers are true winners in life because the battles of life are not only about fighting but also about finishing.
A curse makes life frustrating. If a curse is not stopped on time, it will get its victim to the point where he starts contemplating suicide. Committing suicide is a curse. So, when someone commits suicide, it means the curse has truly gotten the person. If you are having suicidal thoughts, that is a curse showing up in your life. Don’t ignore it; seek help urgently!
When you are under the blessing, suicide does not cross your mind. You may not have money, but you want to live. You see possibilities in your tomorrow. The attack of a curse is to blind you to the possibilities of the future. So, stand against any curse militating against your future. Be aware of any curse hanging over your ancestry, and deal with it knowing the blood of Jesus has delivered you.
